Polishing Stand

• The Lapmaster Hand Polishing stand is an efficient and cost-effective method of obtaining a flat surface, with a particular surface finish using a fine grade Abrasive Polishing Paper.
• This compact, portable, and versatile stand can be equipped in any manufacturing or laboratory environment, where final component specifi cations can be achieved very quickly by hand.
• The roll of Abrasive Polishing Paper is mounted at the rear of the heavy duty body, so it can be pulled and tensioned across the steel calibrated fl at lapping platform. 
   

Hand Lapping Plates

• The Lapmaster Hand Lapping plates are a compact and versatile method of lapping components by hand using loose Abrasive.
• The plate is pre-lapped by Lapmaster to a precision fl atness of less than <0.003mm.
• The recommended technique for lapping with these plates involves moving the component in a fi gure of eight motion, which is optimal for producing a highly fl at surface. 
   

Cast Iron Plates

• There are three sizes of grey cast iron, hand-lapping plates: 6” (152.4mm), 12” (304.8mm), and 18” (457.2mm) diameter.
• All sizes are available with either a cross-hatched surface or a solid surface.
• All plates can be supplied with Lapmaster lapping abrasives. Different micron sizes can be provided on request.
